Why me? by TheForeignConstantin Why me? by TheForeignConstantin
This is my owl... It was brought to me by my neighbor and I really hope I will be able to raise it well...
Wish me good luck!

Hello and thanks you for the comment ^^ ! Well I'm glad you like it :). The thing is that this owl wasn't feeling to well and i didn't want to disturb it any more ...
What kind of bird did you hold yesterday? :D

I held a chickade I don't know the exact name, but it looks kind of like a sparrow and it's very common in my area.

The owl is okay though right?

*sigh* :( ... The owl hasn't survived :| It needed some kind of food that we couldn't provide ... More exactly: mice.

Awwww Well you can get those at the pet store for like 99 cents at times. Seemed a bit young to eat mice from that pic, but yeah I guess those are just meant to be in the wild. Not much you could do.

Well... Another reason was that we would have had to cut the live mice and that's something that me and my mother can't do. I don't even kill spiders; i take them on a napkin and through them out. I only kill mosquitoes haha!
I searched the web and believe me that i didn't find how to home-care a baby owl... Only where to send them in order to be 'rescued' and be taken care of by 'specialists' ...
I'll stick to budgies and nymphicus from now on :) !

Yeah it is hard to cut a mouse I'm sure of it. I think I'd be able to for an owl though, but to do so for any other reason I couldn't. I just like owls more then mice XD

True... I guess it deserved it. Still, finding a mouse would have been hard I. Too bad that the neighbor's cat is lazy and doesn't chase mice  .
